OOS SMF B.V., part of the OOS Group, has developed an innovative solution for mussel farming in open seas. The Semi-submersible Mussel Farm is suitable for harsh environments and is operating on renewable energy sources. The setup is based on aquaculture whereby mussels are growing on submerged ropes. The semi-submersible technology is protecting the mussels during the breeding and growing process.
